24 Hour ‘Run 4 Rosie’
On Saturday 9th through until Sunday 10th March Chagford Runners are hosting a 24 hour relay style run, fundraising for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and in memory of Rosie Webber, who sadly lost her battle with lung cancer last September.
There will be someone running around the parish of Chagford for every hour of the 24 hours, and at least two inspiring endurance runners are attempting to run for the full 24 hours!
Chagford Runners are inviting you to join them and help them achieve this challenge! You do not need to be an experienced runner or incredibly fit to take part, there are routes for all abilities with 5k, 10k, and 10 mile routes available, or why not run as a team? If you are not a runner then we are also looking for help on the day.
The event starts at 9am at The Clubhouse, War Memorial Playing Fields, Chagford, where food will be served throughout the day and mini marathon challenges for under 7s and under 5s will also take place.
If you would like to find out more about this special event or to sign up please head to Run 4 Rosie on Facebook, or email run4rosie.chagford@gmail.com, or call into the Uptown shop in Chagford and speak to Kate Webber.
We look forward to running with you!
