Crediton and Tavistock recycling centres closed until further notice
The Punchbowl recycling centre in Crediton and the Crowndale recycling centre in Tavistock will be closed until further notice due to Coronavirus (Covid 19).
The closures of the Household Waste Recycling Centres are a result of staff shortages caused by staff members or their families self-isolating.
Councillor Andrea Davis, Devon County Council’s Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Development and Waste said.
“We have taken these measures to protect our staff and the public. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause local people and ask they use one of our other facilities. Their locations and opening times can be found on Devon County council’s website.”
