Meet at 2.30pm for a 3pm start on the patio in front of the old hotel on the seafront
Join us for watercolour painting in response to swimming and being in nature at beautiful Sandy Cove, Lee Bay. This workshop is a chance to experiment with watercolours and find your own unique way of self expression as we engage with the landscape through our senses.
We will be practising abstract painting in response to the experience of being in the water and on the beach.
To include: a walking meditation, some basic watercolour painting techniques, painting practice and group wild swim
You will be able to discuss your work and take it home with you!
No painting experience necessary although swimming ability essential!
Materials are provided although you are welcome to bring your own
We will be walking through the rocks to the swimming beach at low tide
Bring swim togs and towel, warm clothes, water/flask and snacks
In case of inclement weather there is a cave for shelter, however you might also like to bring waterproofs and/or an umbrella!
You are responsible for your own safety in the water
