The Christmas Tree Festival in St Eustachius’ Parish Church in Tavistock starts on Friday 1 December (Dickensian Evening) and finishes with a Christingle service on Sunday 10 December. There are usually about 60 trees, individually decorated by participants from local businesses and organisations; each group uses a theme associated with their organisation and there is always a huge variety of very imaginative designs. Coffee, tea, cakes, and light lunches will be available in the church.
The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 4 pm, with one additional late evening viewing - adults £1, children free.
If you are interested in having a tree, please contact Pat Morrison, the Christmas Tree Festival co-ordinator, on p.morrison29@btinternet.com or the parish office parishoffice@tavychurch.eclipse.co.uk
