Identifying Forest Ferns – FREE training this October
Who doesn’t love ferns?
They are one of the most beautiful inhabitants of our woodlands. Spend a virtual hour with Rachel Jones from Plantlife, exploring ferns and learning skills that will help you to identify them when you are out on woodland walks.
Rachel says: “Autumn is most definitely upon us and it is a wonderful time of year to explore the Tamar Valley’s woodlands. Soon we will be saying farewell to some of our woodlands’ more delicate ferns whose fronds will die back for the winter. Before that happens, join me for an hour to look at these beautiful and diverse plants and learn skills that will help you to identify them.”
This free session takes place on Tuesday 20th October at 1pm. If you sign up early, you will receive a free fern ID guide to use during the online workshop.
