General Nature Walk at Meeth Nature Reserve.11 am. Led by Pete Glanville. The reserve was a series of busy clay quarries for 100 yrs and has a very diverse landscape of 2 enormous lakes, clay spoil, ponds, woodland, bogs and wet grasslands. Can be muddy underfoot. Reserve is south of the village of Meeth, approx 4 miles north of Hatherleigh off the A386. Access road is on left after passing the Meeth village sign. Follow access road for ½ mile to car park on left. Bring a packed lunch. £3 donation to Devon Wildlife Trust.
