The Moorland Garden Hotel near Yelverton in Devon is offering a tea-rrific new way to enjoy the nation’s favourite brew, with a Tea Tasting and Cocktail Making evening on Friday 13 April.
Tea expert and blogger, Hannah Ruth Fleming will talk about the wonder of tea and provide eight different brews to try. Guests will then be invited to discover a delicious teatime twist, learning which teas make the perfect cocktail pairing.
The Tea Tasting and Cocktail Making evening starts at 6.30pm with canapés. Or take advantage of the special dinner, bed and breakfast rate from £70 per person (based on two people sharing) including the tea tasting event.
After Easter there will be even more reason to partake of the Moorland Garden Hotel’s afternoon tea. As the hotel continues its support of loose leaf tea there will be special blends to enjoy from Devonshire supplier Tea’s Me. Choose from the unique Moorland Garden Hotel blend, Earl Grey and Dartmoor Caravan, a homage to the Russian classic. Afternoon tea is served daily between 3.30 and 5.30pm and costs from £17.95 per person.
Future tea themed events to look out for at the Moorland Garden Hotel include a pirates afternoon tea in June, with plans to repeat the Tea Tasting and Cocktail Making event later in the year.
