David Tovey is a well known art historian, who specializes in Cornish art, and Will Titcomb, one of the first artist settlers in St Ives in the late 1880s, is his great-grandfather. Come and hear tales of the artist’s peripatetic life and find out why many of his paintings now have immense social-historical interest at this lecture at Bratton Clovelly Parish Hall. Doors and bar open at 7pm, lecture begins at 7.30pm. Refreshments available. Tickets: £5. To book seats or table, email: brattonclovellyfestival@gmail.com or phone: 01837 871696.
