The Wembury restaurant at Boringdon Hall in Plympton has been refurbished and is set to relaunch this weekend with a new menu and new name.
The Mayflower Brasserie opens on Saturday 2nd December, with the new name celebrating the historical links to the Mayflower voyage from Plymouth to America in 1620.
The refurbishment will see the traditional décor be replaced with a more modern, contemporary feel yet maintaining the feeling of history, charm and elegance of the manor house. With oak flooring, luxurious fabrics and contemporary seating will create a warm, welcoming and relaxed ambience with a stylish blend of the old and new.

Alongside the new name and new look, a new brasserie-style menu has been carefully crafted by award-winning Head Chef Scott Paton. Seasonal dishes using locally sourced ingredients will be on the tempting new menu.
The Mayflower Brasserie offers the ideal backdrop for a casual lunch date,sophisticated social gathering or a celebration with friends and family. The versatile new space will also be suitable for conferences and meetings.In time for the festive season, the Mayflower Brasserie will be opening its doors on Christmas Day, serving a deliciously traditional Christmas lunch, with all the trimmings. As well as Christmas lunch, fine festive fayre includes Christmas Eve Dinner and Boxing Day lunches.
